"Sam Esselstyn" Great Pair Antique Tintype Photos ID'd Dog Clinton Dated 1872 ww2 moving to PetersburgGreat pair of original tintypes of a dog. Scratched in the background above his head on each tintype is his name, Sam Esselstyn, Clinton, NY, August 1872. Based on other photos of the family that I have, I am pretty sure that his owners' names were Harlow and Anna Esselstyn. Tintypes are in overall very good or better antique condition with no bends. The larger one is approximately 4 1 4" x 2 1 2".
