On the back is written: "Prof Kiss, my master in Berlin. E. V. V. March 25, 1862". E. V. V. was Edward Virginius Valentine, the famous American artist from Virginia, who was known for his sculptures of Civil War figures. Dimensions are 4" x 2. 5". Very good or better antique condition.
