probably nickel spurs with steel inserts which would fit into "boxes" in the heel of the boot

There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped " Swaine & Adeney Ltd, London". It has a silver collar, this is hallmarked London 1920 and stamped with the silversmith's mark "ESA"It is also engraved "C. H. Rawson, LeicesterThe shaft or stock is covered in very dark brown, almost black braided leather. The whip has its original stitched bridle leather keeper. Dimensions : Staghorn
