コバルトを含有した錆びに強いステンレス系の鋼材です。 粘りを持たすために、コバルトを添加することで強靭さが増し、刃欠けを防ぎ切れ味の持続性に優れています。クロムの含有量が高いため錆にも強いです。

とてもユニークなティーポット。

クロームが13％含まれたステンレス鋼で、焼入れ焼戻しによって高強度が得られることを特徴とするマルテンサイト系のステンレスの1つであり、色々なステンレスの中でも、熱処理を行った後のステンレスとして最も炭素含有量が多く硬度のあるステンレスとされています。「硬くて錆びにくい」という性質が特徴です。
